As Valentine’s Week approaches, popular stand-up comedian Zakir Khan has shared his funny and thoughtful views on love, relationships, and online dating. In a recent chat, Zakir talked about how love remains timeless, even though the ways people meet and date have changed over time.
Zakir, known for his relatable comedy, said, “Love is eternal. Whether you meet someone on a terrace, Facebook, or Tinder, the feeling of love stays the same.” He added that emotions like butterflies in the stomach or getting goosebumps are universal and will always exist, no matter how much technology evolves.
When asked about online dating, Zakir joked, “People swipe right on apps, but what they really want is a cute, unexpected meeting.” He also clarified that he is not on any dating apps, despite fake profiles in his name.
Zakir, who will soon be seen in Love Life Lafde on Disney+ Hotstar, believes that humor often comes from personal experiences. He explained, “Comedy is tragedy in long shot. Sometimes, stepping back and laughing at life’s challenges is the best way to handle them.”
The comedian also shared his thoughts on friendships with women, saying he focuses on genuine conversations rather than gender labels. On the idea of opposites attracting, Zakir said it’s more about being in the right phase of life where things naturally click.
With his witty and heartfelt take on love, Zakir Khan has given us all something to smile about this Valentine’s season!
