It takes practice to tune out the loud opinions around you and tune in to the quiet beating of your own heart.

As we go through life, we hear a lot of noise in the form of opinions from those around us. An opinion not only distracts us from the direction we are supposed to follow but also causes surrendering to a norm which we may consider improper or unsuitable. In this case, it may even be wise to say that silence is golden.
