Jacob Skidmore, known on TikTok as “The Nameless Narcissist,” reveals a riddle that will help to know if you are a psychopath or not. Skidmore leverages his clinical diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder to delve into the intricate facets of narcissism.

His content revolves around his personal experiences and offers insights into how his diagnosis influences his relationships.

Sitting in a sparsely decorated beige room with a map on one wall and a calendar on the other, Skidmore introduced a riddle that he claimed could allegedly determine if someone has psychopathic traits.

While he prefaced his riddle by acknowledging the absence of research to validate it, he emphasized that those who could answer it correctly shouldn’t panic.

Riddle To Check If You Are A Psychopath

Skidmore, a diagnosed narcissist himself, and his sister, diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), were the only ones he claimed were able to accurately answer the riddle.

The riddle begins with a scenario where a woman meets a man at her mother’s funeral and they hit it off.

However, she forgets his name and number. The riddle takes a twist when the woman murders her sister the following week, prompting the question of why she did it.

Skidmore provided his interpretation of the riddle’s answer: the woman murdered her sister to increase the chances of the man attending her sister’s funeral due to their family relation. He clarified that he found the answer evident, while his sister struggled with it, considering it a trick question.

Skidmore noted that the riddle doesn’t necessarily point to psychopathic tendencies and may be more indicative of Machiavellian traits. He emphasized that his riddle isn’t a diagnostic tool and is more of a thought experiment.

Commenters on the post mostly found the answer to the riddle straightforward, deducing that the woman killed her sister to entice the mysterious man to her sister’s funeral.

The discussion sparked various viewpoints, including the idea that the riddle showcases logical thinking rather than moral inclination.

Some users pondered more creative interpretations, with one suggesting, “the man is death.” Others raised the question of the riddle’s alignment with realistic scenarios versus metaphorical interpretations.

The discourse around the riddle also led to discussions on morality, empathy, and psychopathy.

An article by the American Psychological Association highlighted key aspects of psychopathy, such as low empathy, remorse, impulsivity, and potentially aggressive or violent behavior.

Ultimately, Skidmore’s riddle stands as an engaging thought experiment rather than a definitive psychological assessment tool.

The varying interpretations and discussions it has ignited underscore the complexities of psychological traits and the multifaceted nature of human behavior.
