Ashley Graham’s barbie doll has been doing the rounds as a plus-size doll that represents healthy and curvy body types. Graham’s experienced emotional distress during her childhood due to the absence of Barbie dolls that represented her body type has also been highlighted.

As a passionate advocate for body positivity, Graham strongly believes that her self-esteem would have been significantly enhanced if the widely popular Mattel doll had been more inclusive and featured a diverse range of body shapes. In celebration of Ashley’s new role as the host of the ‘Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge,’ Mattel has designed a doll in her likeness.

Although the 35-year-old model, who is happily married to Justin Ervin and is a mother to three-year-old Isaac and 18-month-old twins Roman and Malachi, is thrilled with this gesture, she acknowledges that not all of her requests could be met.

During an appearance on the ‘Today’ show, Ashley Graham’s Barbie doll was presented to the world by the model herself. Graham also conversed with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, expressing her belief that having a plus-size Barbie doll with a body shape similar to hers during her formative years would have alleviated much of the trauma she experienced.

She elaborated, saying that she would not have compared herself to the doll and wondered why she looked different. Reflecting on the Barbie doll created in her image, Ashley remarked, “She possesses thick thighs, a round butt, and lower belly fat. One thing I specifically requested was cellulite, but unfortunately, that couldn’t be incorporated.”

Over time, Ashley has grown more confident, and the experience of becoming a mother has transformed her perception of herself and her body. She shared, “As a mother, my body has undergone numerous changes. It has been through ups and downs, but ultimately, I’ve learned to appreciate it.

Sharing my story has empowered countless women to embrace their own bodies and find confidence within themselves. I have saggy skin on my stomach, cellulite all over my body, and stretch marks everywhere, and I have come to accept and love every part of it. I want young girls to understand that.”Ashley Graham recently attended the premiere of the Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie, captivating onlookers as she graced the event in a stunning black gown. By defying conventional beauty and body standards, she served as an inspiration to many.
