Mindful Therapy Group (Mindful), a network of licensed, independent mental health clinicians comprising nearly 1,000 professionals, has announced an impactful partnership with the Seattle Seahawks, a collaboration aimed at dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting open dialogues on the subject.

Commencing with the 2023 season, Mindful is set to join forces with the Seattle Seahawks in support of the team’s Mental Health Matters campaign.

The partnership aims to elevate discussions on the significance of mental health while encouraging frank conversations about mental well-being.

Mindful Therapy Group Will Extend Across A Spectrum Of Platforms

As a significant facet of this collaboration, Mindful will be the presenting partner for the podcast “Big Ray’s Garage Grind: Mental Health Edition,” hosted by Seahawks Legend Ray Roberts.

Part of the Seahawks’ Podcast Network, this podcast series will provide listeners with an intimate exploration of the nexus between mental health and sports.

It will delve into Ray Roberts’ personal mental health journey, as well as the experiences of other athletes navigating life beyond the sports arena.

Mindful’s involvement will extend across a spectrum of platforms. The collaboration will see their active participation on the Seattle Seahawks’ digital and social channels, offering insights, information, and resources related to mental health.

This includes in-game promotional opportunities and various brand activations to amplify the message of mental well-being awareness.

The significance of this partnership lies in its potential to bring mental health topics to the forefront of public discourse.

Mental health issues have historically been stigmatized and often overlooked, despite their prevalence across all walks of life, including professional sports.

By collaborating with a prominent NFL team like the Seattle Seahawks, Mindful aims to leverage the team’s broad reach and influence to normalize conversations about mental health.

The Mental Health Matters campaign, which the Seahawks have been actively pursuing, aligns seamlessly with Mindful’s mission to provide accessible mental health support and resources to individuals.

Through this partnership, both entities aim to destigmatize seeking help for mental health concerns, encouraging athletes, fans, and the general public to engage in open discussions about mental well-being.

Ray Roberts’ podcast, “Big Ray’s Garage Grind: Mental Health Edition,” is expected to serve as a powerful platform to share personal experiences, stories, and insights from the world of sports.

The podcast intends to bridge the gap between the image of athletes on the field and their challenges off the field, presenting a holistic view of their lives.

By featuring candid conversations about mental health struggles and triumphs, the podcast seeks to inspire listeners to prioritize their mental well-being and seek support when needed.

As part of this partnership, Mindful Therapy Group’s involvement with the Seattle Seahawks goes beyond sponsorship.

It signifies a collaborative effort to make a positive impact on mental health awareness and advocacy, while also offering tangible resources and support to those in need.

With the ability to reach a wide audience through various platforms, this collaboration holds the promise of fostering a culture that values mental health and prioritizes open conversations, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more supportive society.
